Thermal Degradation

In common, the rate of a reaction, raise to rise in temperature. Therefore, the molecules are vulnerable to degrade at a higher temperature. Many Molecules are responsive to heat or tropical temp. Like peptides and vitamins etc. Hydrolysis, pyrolysis, Isomerization, decarboxylation, polymerization, and rearrangement these are the reactions is involved in thermal degradation. Thermal degradation study base on equation K= Ae-Ea/RT called an Arrhenius equation. Generally, thermal degradation carried between the 40˚C to 80˚C.
