Photolytic Degradation

Exposure of molecules may produce photolytic degradation. The degradation rate of Photolytic degradation depends on the quantity of light and the intensity of light absorbed by the molecule. Photolytic degradation is carried by exposing the molecules in visible and UV light. The range of 300-800 NM is usually accepted wavelength of light that causes of photolytic degradation. It occurs through the oxidative photolytic reaction.
